| Author of HELEN'S HUNGARIAN HERITAGE RECIPES Canadian Best Selling Cookbook, Clara Czegeny was at various locations throughout South-Western Ontario at Chapters, Coles and Indigo Stores on weekend events. The ladies served up some tasty treats these exciting Taste and Sign Media Events. Clara and her mother Helen co-authored this beloved and cherished, Czegeny Hungarian family recipe Masterpiece. This is a culinary collection of truly classic Hungarian cherished recipes passed down through generations of the Szabo-Czegeny families. Helen was formally trained at young age of 12 in Hungary where she learned the intricate cooking methods and fine details of Hungarian Cuisine and it comes out in all of her recipes. The samplers ranged from the famous Goulash Soup, to Flakey Apple Squares and the delightful Hungarian Palacsinta (Crepes). Each Event was truly a memorable event. Clara and Helen want to thank everyone who participated and of course those who dropped by to sample, chat and purchase books. They flipped over 500 crepes and served over 3000 people in 20 locations. The lovely treasured Hungarian cookbook is now in 17 new stores. They successfully sold over 300 books in less than 11 weekends of the events! The success of these events has rippled throughout South Western Ontario for which we are very happy! |
